Boiled Egg Ripper

MONROEVILLE, Pa., February 1, 2011 — InventionHome is pleased to announce that they have finalized a license agreement for a unique product titled “Boiled Egg Ripper”. Inventor Richard L. of Austin, Indiana enjoyed the occasional hard-boiled egg for breakfast but was frustrated that such a seemingly simple item could be so tedious to peel. His early research revealed no clever tool or gadget to remove the shell from the boiled egg, so Richard set out to develop one himself. A carpenter by trade and an inventor by hobby, Richard built one prototype after another using stainless steel forks. Months and dozens of forks later, Richard had a working prototype in hand and started the patent and marketing journey.

InventionHome just finalized the license agreement between Richard and a company that also saw a void in the market for an egg-peeling gadget. The licensee hopes to be in retail stores by mid-2011 with the product.
