Featured Invention – The Handy Holder

In western Pennsylvania (home of InventionHome) and across the US, the start of fishing season is just around the corner, so we thought we would introduce you to “The Handy Holder” from our inventor, Thomas H. of Oregon City, Oregon. For those of you who enjoy the sport of fishing, imagine having a reliable accessory that enables you to fish “hands-free”. Well, you’ve still got to reel in your fish…after all, that’s the fun part!

Thomas designed his Handy Holder to secure a fishing pole while bait is in the water. Because the invention provides reliable support, ability to adjust to any angle, and elevation of the pole off of the ground (dirt, sand, mud), the user can tend to other tasks that require the use of one or both hands. This device works great in uneven terrain, making it perfect for fishing on lakebeds, boats, docks and secures a pole on slippery surfaces, making it ideal for ice fishing. Handy Holder is collapsible and portable, making it ideal for travel. This device can easily be transported in a backpack and is easy to set up. Not only does this product make fishing easier for the average angler, but handicapped or disabled individuals are able to utilize this innovative fishing accessory as well.

Thomas enlisted the help of InventionHome to assist him in finding marketing/licensing opportunities for his invention.
