InventionHome Sets Stage for Inventors at 2012 International Home + Housewares Show

The “greatest show on earth” dedicated to the housewares industry is about to open its doors in Chicago from March 10-13, 2012. The International Home + Housewares Show at McCormick Center is an annual event that brings together the world’s newest product trends and the decision-makers that orchestrate their development and sales. Once again InventionHome will play a crucial role in setting the stage for several inventor events at the Show.

InventionHome Inventors Corner Pavilion

The InventionHome Inventors Corner Pavilion, an area of the Housewares show dedicated specifically to inventors, is guaranteed to be a show-stopper for anyone seeking new products not yet available in the marketplace. This year’s Pavilion is even larger than the last, and it is jam-packed with opportunities for inventors to learn about the industry and showcase their inventions.

What opportunities are available in the Inventors Corner?

To kick-off the show, the United Inventors Association (UIA) will offer inventors a full day of educational sessions free of charge, featuring industry experts speaking on various topics. The main event starts Saturday afternoon in the InventionHome Inventors Corner Pavilion where inventors have three days to showcase their inventions to the crowd. Side shows will be held in the Product Revue area adjacent to the Pavilion where inventors will pitch their wares to a changing panel of experts who will provide valuable advice and feedback on commercializing their inventions. The final act on Tuesday features QVC buyers on hand to review products for inclusion in their new program called QVC Sprouts. Inventors interested in presenting to QVC should apply here immediately.
