Spring has finally arrived and with it the annual Response Expo in San Diego, where InventionHome teamed up with Response Expo to offer the biggest and best Inventor Pavilion to date.
InventionHome Inventor Pavilion
The InventionHome Inventor Pavilion featured 65 products from independent inventors hoping to find a company to make their product the next As Seen On TV hit. The Pavilion was humming as inventors filled the aisles to demonstrate their wares.
What was the highlight of the 2014 Response Expo? One could argue that it was the induction of the ThighMaster herself, Suzanne Somers, into the Direct Response Hall of Fame, or possibly the fireworks at Petco Park on a private Field of Dreams. While there’s never a shortage of high energy events and networking opportunities at the Response Expo, product is king of the Direct Response industry and InventionHome stepped up to the task of making sure the Inventor Pavilion was a must-stop destination for all attendees.
Janice Lieberman of the Today Show
In addition to exhibiting, inventors had a chance to hear Today Show consumer advocate, Janice Lieberman, discuss what makes a product successful on home shopping networks and at retail. In a separate session inventors also had their questions about the DRTV industry answered by infomercial producer Ron Perlstein of Infoworx.
Infomercial giant Telebrands listened to pitches from inventors that were asked to present using their best pitchman personality. Janice Lieberman and her partner Peter Faulisi entertained pitches in the InventionHome booth with the goal of finding great products for Janice’s upcoming segment on HSN. Several inventors were invited to appear on morning TV shows at local San Diego stations and the nationally televised Today Show filmed a segment for their May 17th show.
The UIA presented innovation awards to three lucky inventors of The Better Way Blanket, Rest-assured Wrap, and Trio hygiene system. Congratulations!
InventionHome extends our thanks to everyone that helped make this year’s Inventor Pavilion a smash hit!
