MONROEVILLE, Pa., February 10, 2011 — InventionHome is pleased to announce that they have finalized a license agreement for a unique product titled “Wurkpads Strapless Kneepads”. The inventor, James W. of South Royalton, Vermont, developed and patented the Wurkpads to provide comfort and convenience for those who kneel during work and recreational activities. Unlike traditional kneepads that use binding straps for attachment, WurkPad kneepads attach to the pants of the user below the knee with two patented fasteners. The fasteners are integrated into the kneepad shell eliminating unwanted sagging. The fasteners crimp the pants between nylon cleats, cam locking into place for secure attachment. The nylon cleats won’t damage clothing. Once attached, the WurkPad kneepads won’t slip out of place and are so comfortable the user can walk, stand and kneel in comfort without that nagging desire to take them off as is usually the case with traditional kneepads. The WurkPad kneepads hang from the pants with zero discomfort, unlike the binding straps of traditional kneepads which cut off circulation in the joint area.

InventionHome introduced the Wurkpads to a manufacturer which has strong distribution with Home Depot, Lowe’s, Sears, Ace Hardware, Menards, and many other national accounts. The company finalized a license agreement this week, and plans to have the Wurkpads in national retail accounts later this year.
